The Chris Dawson Foundation has recognized Sev Con Paving for a $5,000 donation to the Chris Dawson Centre. Here, Sev Con owner and president Don Severin receives a plaque from Foundation board member Scott Dawson and Fund Development Co-ordinator Heather Allen. The Foundation is a local private family foundation created as a legacy for the late Christopher Dawson. The Centre is operates at 420 East Street North in Sarnia has 11 not-for-profit tenant partners, including the United Way of Sarnia-Lambton, Alzheimer Society of Sarnia Lambton, Breast Cancer Society of Canada, Financial Fitness, Lambton Seniors Association, Multiple Sclerosis Society, Developmental Services Ontario, The Canadian Hearing Society, Goodwill Industries EKL, Red Cross Care Partners, and The Chris Dawson Foundation.
